Teddy Bear "Virus" Hoax Alert

Somebody has resurrected the teddy-bear virus hoax.  (When are these dorks going to find something better to do?  And this one’s not even technically interesting.  It just cons you into damaging your system and encouraging your friends to do likewise.)

Below is the body of recently circulated email, which needs to be ignored.

Unfortunately, a virus has been passed on to me by a contact.  My address book was infected.  Since you are in my address book, there is a good chance you will find it in your computer too.  The virus (called jdbgmgr.exe) is not detected by Norton or McAfee antivirus systems.

The virus sits quietly for 14 days before damaging the system.  It is sent automatically by messenger and by the address book, whether or not you sent e-mail to your contacts.

Here's how to check for the virus and how to get rid of it.
       YOU MUST DO THIS.

Don’t do what it says…  in fact never do what unsolicited email tell you to do without first checking it out.  Here’s where you can find out more about the hoax.

Or better yet, type  " jdbgmgr.exe "  in to your search engine and see what pops up.

P.S.  Also, I am sorry to report, the deposed prince of Nigeria doesn't really want to deposit millions of dollars into your bank account, and Bill Gates isn't going to send you any money for forwarding email.  It's all just bored teenagers.
