over 100 Sales Representatives, Consultants and other field personnel to
communicate, coordinated schedules and exchange data with Inside Sales Team and
Management. Efficiency and production drastically increased

Converted
the corporate network from mixed Novell to Windows NT, eliminating unnecessary
login procedures. Conversion was seamless, with no downtime

a secure method for corporate users and remote staff to pass forms, data and
corporate information using the Internet and Public Folders, eliminating
unnecessary faxes and shipping costs.
•
Designed
the San Diego corporate office Intranet, with Internet access, using a store
and forward firewall protecting the Intranet. Implemented virus protection
scheme for servers and desktops.
•
Worked
with upper management planning strategies and implementation plans for
migrating to new technologies. Devised
test plans to minimize risk associated with making those changes.
•
Developed
and implemented automated backup strategy for the corporate network using
Backup Exec/Veritas.
Support/Troubleshooting:

and benefits of new technology uses and implementation.

a gateway product to an international company through alpha and beta testing.
Developed diagnostic scripts and procedures for testing that were so good; they
were released with the product. Proofread and gave suggestions to technical
writers on documentation related to that product.
•
Used as reserve recourse for sales representatives as an
onsite technical resource on important sales when they felt a stronger
technical background might be needed.
•
Trained field, local and support
